A suggestion:

CYA gun fool friends:

Awhile back Jeff Patterson and I fought a B&A trigger, where the firing pin would sometimes delay while the action was being de-cocked.

Sometimes for close to second......

At other times a catch, or click, was both felt and heard.

We couldn't determine what the problem was......we wound up tearing the trigger down, putting it back together, and it seemed to work OK???????

Seemed to work OK?

Although it seemed to work fine, I'll bet a dollar bill, that when the balls roll around enough, through firing, the flat on one of the balls, or minor pit, will realign again in such a way that the trigger will start clicking when being de-cocked, again.

Well, yesterday and today we went through some detailed tests on another B&A.....Jeff did the work, as he has other B&A's to change parts around.

There is no question, but that, the two balls cause this issue....

Tiny flat spot, pit, dirt, something about the two balls.

I'm not a trigger expert......but I have a suggestion to solve this issue......and Jeff agrees.

Your friend, Bill Calfee
