Howdy Bill,

Just checking on you.

If you got as much snow and ice as we did, it was a BUNCH! Sorta makes it tough to get out.

Is there anything you need? Groceries, anything?

Take care,

Greg

Yes, snow and cold......zero a couple of nights....

But I'm doing great......I'm lucky.......

Don't need a thing.......

Thank you for asking....

I hope you're doing OK.......

Now.......................

Memories carry one through during times like this cold weather and being cooped up because of the virus....

Greg, I've always been a pistol fool.......

Sitting behind this thing on a warm summer afternoon......memories that cancel out this cold old winter.

Like this memory of me doing what I love best.......pistol shooting...

And then to show you that I've always been a pistol fool.....

Here's me at almost five years old living in Hazard, Kentucky........Walkertown section...

That's me in the middle, by brother Larry to my right and the next door neighbor girl.....

We was conned into having our pictures taken holding baby dolls.....

I wouldn't stand for it......so I made sure I was holding my pistol.......

You can see that sheep eatin grin on my face.......I was hiding.....

So Greg, I've always been a pistol fool....

And one day we'll have these for the masses......

Your pistol fool friend, Bill Calfee

Howdy Bill,

Glad you're doing good! I'm doing ok. I used to like all the cold and snow and such. Driving this morning all I could think about was how pretty it was and how I'd love to go rabbit hunting on a day like today. Except it had warmed up to about 7 degrees and the ice woulda been hard on beagles.......and likely not good on Gregs! Funny how as time goes by the cold is a bit harder to deal with as injuries come along.

I'm looking forward to spring, too!

Collecting memories from shooting that pistol has to be fun!

Now, I got tickled at the picture of you and your brother along with the neighbor girl. She was cute, and likely the one who conned you two into holding her baby dolls, but you outslicked her holding that pistol, too! Wimmin are tricky, even at a young age!

I was looking at a pistol today. I wanted it, but I couldn't bring myself to let go of the money. I saw that post by AD........I figure if I shoot your pistol sometime I'll have to be sending AD a bunch of money for an action, so I need to hold on to what I have for now.

Man alive those things have to be fun!

Take care,

Greg
