CYA pistol fool friends:

I heard a rumor........( if this is incorrect, I apologize)

I heard that Marfarkle got out his #43 XP Pistol and shot a couple cards with it last night at Livonia.

And won the last card with a 2300 plus score....

CYA pistol fool friends, Marfarkle hasn't shot in years......maybe a time or two the past three, or so, years.

And for him to bring out #43 and win that last card, with an excellent score......I mean...

What in the world could Marfarkle do, if he chased the ammo and played the game like a lot of folks do?

Here's the point........

Pistols don't back down from no rifles......

CYA pistol fool friends, if we ever get this thing for the masses...

And a few "players'' acquire them, they will turn the world of RFBR up-side-down.....

The rest of the story....

CYA pistol fool friends:

I just got off the phone with Marfarkle.....

It wasn't a rumor, he did win the last target with a 2350, using his #43 pistol......shooting Lapua.

Marfarkle said he didn't have any ammo, since he hasn't shot in the last few years...

He started out shooting his rifle, with old ammo, and it wasn't working....

So Big Dog gave him a couple boxes of two lots of Lapua...

On his last target he decided to shoot the second lot of Lapua that Big Dog gave him...

Marfarkle told me, he said, "Bill, that lot hit low and I didn't want to move my scope, so I held high, half way between the 100 and 25 ring...."

"And it just killed it."

Marfarkle then said, "Bill, I should have had a 2500."

I then said, "Wasn't it fun to be shooting your pistol again."

Marfarkle then said, "Oh my yes."

I built Marfarkle's XP back in the 90's, as a RFBR rifle.....

I then converted it to a RFBR pistol in the early 2000's......and Marfarkle acquired it.

I'm going to say this again:

These pistols don't back up from no rifles....

Heaven help the rifle shooters, and their having to lug around their big one piece rests, if this thing ever becomes available to the masses.

Oh, one other thing.....

I told Marfarkle I'd let him shoot my new Turbo pistol the next time he came down to bring me some of his killer relish...

He then said, "Bill, does it shoot better than your XP pistols?"

I then said, "I'll let you be the judge."

One more thing.....

The chamber in Marfarkle's #43 pistol was cut almost 20 years ago.....back when I was running leade engraving lengths in the .150" range......for Eley...

When Marfarkle comes down to bring me some of his killer relish, I'm going to have him bring #43 so I can check the chamber engraving length.....

I'll bet a dollar bill it's over .150".......

The second pistol revolution is coming....

CYA pistol fool friends:

When you look at what Marfarkle did at Livonia with a 25 year old pistol, once he had some decent ammo....

Hang on to your hats when some of RFBR's "players" start competing with these:

The second pistol revolution is coming....

And when it does it will change the face of RFBR forever.......
