The state of rimfire accuracy advancement....

The ARA Indoor Nationals is the single most important Big National RFBR Event in our sport, because it defines the current "state" of rimfire accuracy advancement each year.


During the upcoming weeks/months we're going to discuss the current "state" of rimfire accuracy advancement, or lack of it.


For starters, the first five finishers at this year's Nationals shot MD-PAS ignition guns.

Some way, some how, the masses must have more access to quality MD-PAS ignition RFBR actions......


How this is going to happen, I don't know, but it must happen....


Rimfire accuracy can not be advanced with any form of SAP ignition......it's been this way for the past 23 years.


We've got a lot of very serious matters to discuss, if, we are to continue advancing rimfire accuracy.

The ARA Indoor Nationals is the measuring rod that determines the "state" of rimfire accuracy advancement.


During the past two ARA Indoor Nationals there's been 9-2500 targets fired.


8 of those 2500 targets were fired by MD-PAS ignition shooters...


Only 1-2500 target was fired by a SAP ignition shooter.....


Eight to one....


No form of SAP ignition produces ignition uniformity like well blueprinted MD-PAS ignition...

It's been this way for 23 years now....



Rimfire accuracy simply can not be advanced by any form of SAP ignition......

Advancing rimfire accuracy is all that matters, to me.......


I have a secondary goal, that is, for the masses to have access to MD-PAS ignition pistols.....


But advancing rimfire accuracy comes first.

23 years ago this man made the greatest, ever, contribution to the advancement of rimfire accuracy when he gave the world his MD-PAS ignition Turbo RFBR action.
