I.R.100/100 or ARA & PSL to 100 meter or 100 yd?

Tens of years here has been 3 x 10 shot and 5 x 10 shot group competitions to 100 meter with rimfires.

Shooting to 100 meter / yd with rimfire changes the game compared to 50 meter or 50 yd.

Our best I.R.50/50 shooters has tried also this 100 meter with their "killer" 50 meter RF.s but near always winner & Top 3 are experienced 6 PPC shooters from CFBR backround with their excellent wind reading skills.

They use Annies etc rimfires what are not competative to 50 meter.

What I am thinking? We need more shooters to RFBR game everywhere.To 100 meter you dont need expensive "killer" RF.You need very good wind reading skills.

Our National Record 10 shot group to 100 meter is shooted with old little customized TOZ rimfire.This is C to C measured 11,15 mm (0,44").
This is so good shooted outside range that I think it last long time.(Picture).

Why not have 100 meter/yd I.R. / ARA / PSL competitions?????

I agree, that 10 shot 100 meter group will never be broken......

I like it that the moving backer is also in the picture........

The moving backer hassle is why we don't shoot rimfire for group..........

By the way, personally, I'd much rather shoot for group as score.......I mean, it is benchrest shooting after all.....bc
