I hope this is ok to put on this forum, but if not, I will replicate things here.

I have written, and still continue to write and answer, my story (path) on rimfire benchrest.

Not to duplicate things here's the link to the other forum:

Pedro,

Thank you for posting your thoughts and experiences.

I hang-on every word you print.

You have taught me a lot and most of all encouraged me.

I am forever grateful that you (and others here) take the time to share your expertise.

Wow, what can I say?
I'm more than happy that my sharing has been helpful.
Much appreciated
Thank you

Hi Pedro,
Thanks for sharing your journey through your benchrest career. It has certainly been rewarding for you, and well deserved for your dedication and hard work. I have been in the game for 27 years and am still learning. Have not reached the pinicle of success and expertise that you have. I enjoy it as a sport and recreation, and the companionship of other like minded people. Have had some success at a state and national level but have not been inclined to take it any further.

Please continue your journey throught the sport on this forum, and include what your equipment is, as I am sure there are others that would like to know also.

Cheers from North Queensland Australia,
Trevor.

Hi Trevor, glad you are around here.
Shooters, and personalities like yours are gold to the sport.

Not all of us shots for competing. In fact I always say, when I introduce BR to newcomers, that can or will choose at least two mean routes. Either path is valid and worthwhile. Not everyone wants to dedicate time and money to competing, and even then, not everyone wants to reach the highest level. And shooting just for fun is perfectly valid.

I'm active here on this forum, doing my best to answer and interact with all that need.

Regarding my shooting gear, it hasn't changed much...

International Sporter
2500-XS with Shilen barrel
FF trigger
March 10-60 scope (WRABF rises the max power to 12x)
LRP pawlovnia stock
X-Act ammo
Lenzi front rest with swivel bag support
Lenzi rear bag (small ears)
Swarosvki scope

Light and Heavy rifle
Turbo V1 with Shilen barrel
FF trigger
Nightforce 42x44 scope
KSS Straightline v2 stock
X-Act and Midas+ ammo
Lenzi front rest with swivel bag support
Lenzi rear bag (small ears)

Couple of backup rifles with Muller and Shilen barrels, all with FF trigger and NF 42x44 scope, served with Midas+ ammo

Hi Pedro,
Thanks for your kind words.
Your equipment list is impressive. My present equipment is a Vudoo topped with a March 48x with a F.F.Trigger Benchmark 3 grouve barrel Huntsman tuner(Aussie made} and a self made stock of my own design ( laminated local timber) and use Eley Match. I use a Seb Neo X for a front rest and Lenzi rear bag. It serves me well for what I want.
Cheers,
Trevor.
