I saw this mentioned on another forum. Having done it, I can say it's extremely simple. I also agree with Mike Ezell about Reloading International. It's been a few years back but I sent a rifle to a French territory close to Australia. At first it seemed like a daunting task but all I did was have an FFL dealer send it to Reloading International who was expecting it. At the point they received and accepted it, I no longer had any financial interest in it. Basically, at that point they owned it. The buyer had already contacted them and they shipped it to him, no big deal.

I think my total cost was about $50 including the shipping and paying the FFL dealer but itt was several years back. Now the total cost on the other end was somewhat higher because the shipping was higher and there was a value added tax or something that had to be paid. But the buyer knew all that.

Now there are those that will say "No you can't do that, they have to be an international shipper." That's true but Reloading International also holds a US FFL so for me it was just FFL to FFL. Nothing special. The logistics of moving it out of the U.S. was handled after it was no longer legally mine. It's good to research the law though because there are countries that won't accept a firearm and there are countries that the U.S. will not allow a firearm to be shipped to. However, it both the buyer and the seller know the laws, it's simple. I think then I could have shipped it to Reloading International myself, but not too many carriers, if any will allow a non FFL dealer to ship a firearm. UPS quit it unless the shipper had an existing contract.

Need to try harder. You're still visible and always will be.
