This Sunday is Father's Day

This Sunday is Father's Day and I've been sitting here this evening contemplating what my dad meant to me.

Dad left this world 22 years ago....but I still think about him....and miss him....

I miss mine to everyday, I lost my mom when I was 22, I am 54 now and we just lost daddy in April 1st of 22, We were blessed me and my brother with great parents , he pastored churches here in NW NC for 55 years and trust me ,lived exactly what he preached. Literally on his death bed that last week he told me how he regretted not doing a lot with us growing up, he was always gone with work then when he got home ,it was on to visit the sick or something to do with church, but we honestly never thought about it growing up.
But when he passed away it just hit me hard how much respect I had for my daddy, it was really hard on me but I know where’s he at and we WILL MEET again.
