Last outdoor seasons "competition" to 50 meter here is named Squirrel Rimfire and shooted yesterday.It is 5 x 5 shot group shooting to 50 meter outside.

Hunting season is now on here and there was very few shooters shooting rf there.

Smallest group Risto Murisoja 2,68 mm (0,106")

1. Antti Ikäheimo KeAms 27,58 mm (1,086") average group size 5,516 mm (0,217")
2. Risto Murisoja HaaAS 28,62 mm
3. Kalle-Antti Varis KeAms 32,98 mm
4. Timo-Heikki Varis KeAms 35,77 mm
5. Jyrki Viitanen KarttA 39,30 mm
6. Eija Murisoja HaaAS 41,12 mm
7. Juha Liukkonen SaarA 46,35 mm
8. Tuomo Nissilä LMS 48,51 mm
9. Toimi Karhunen KarttA 53,76 mm

Ps2.I must check out did Antti his win with his old Vostok rf...Antti& his own hands blueprinted & lapped Vostok owns our National record of 10 shot group to 100 meter outside.Picture.

If the group in the picture is 10 shots at 110 yards, we here in America don't have anything that will run with that.....


Friend Timo, I'd much rather shoot groups than for score, but, without moving backers shooting groups is totally meaningless..human nature being what it is......


Do you guys use moving backers?

Yes there are moving bachers in use,normally those 3 x 10 shot or 5x10 shot rf group competitions to 100 m (110yd) are shooted same day with CFBR HV or LV competitions.

Anttis national record to 100 m (110yd) is so good that it last very long time I think.

Ps.I add here how our National record of 10 shot group to 100 m (110 yd) has developed from year 2001:
(Anttis 11,15 mm (0,44") stays VERY long I think.
