Here are the three "players" contending for the 2021 ARA Outdoor A-LINE Championship..

A MD-PAS Nation shooter followed by two SAP Nation shooters...

2 Maddisyn Reed** 129 6657 22 302.59 11 18 2238.5659 432.6577
3 John Prince 175 6715 32 209.84 16 23 2206.1143 429.2066

Can the two SAP Nation shooters overcome the MD-PAS Nation shooter?

Here's the updated ARA A-LINE:

2 Maddisyn Reed** 129 6657 22 302.59 11 18 2238.5659 432.6577

CYA accuracy fool friends:

Should Larry "Paladin" Parsons win the A-LINE this year, he will have accomplished this amazing feat by only having Paladin to shoot since May 26th.

Should Larry win it, it makes one wonder what he could have done if he'd had Paladin the whole year.

I didn't really know much about how the A-Line was calculated, so I went and looked at the math. Pretty impressive set of requirements for sure. It looks like it takes a lot of shooting, driving and targets to really win. The one thing that really stuck out was how Maddisyn Reed is doing. I guess she is still a JUNIOR shooter and was going to high school early this year and is now an engineering student at Rolla. She is only a few points out of the lead and has shot only a little over half the targets and events as the leader. Her agg is the highest in the top of the rankings too. That is what this sport really needs. It is so good to see a young person do so well and is an inspiration to all of us. Just imagine how well she would be doing if she had the time and resources to shoot and travel more. MY congratulations go out to her and all the top shooters in the A-Line. I wish I could shoot that much and travel more.

I agree, Ms Reed is an excellent shooter.....but you left out John "VLNBYR" Prince who is also an excellent shooter.

1 Larry Parsons 244 7578 43 176.23 20 32 2178.3811 438.8642
2 Maddisyn Reed** 129 6657 22 302.59 11 18 2238.5659 432.6577
3 John Prince 175 6715 32 209.84 16 23 2206.1143 429.2066

Larry Parsons has only been shooting Paladin for part of this year...

During this time he's produced 15 Wins, including winning two of the five, very prestigious, ARA Area Tournaments, one being St Louis.

And three 2500's.......all outside, of course..

Friend Geo, if Larry had been shooting Paladin the entire year, today he'd be in a different Time Zone compared to the rest of the A-LINE chasers.

What if.....?

What if.....?

CYA accuracy fool friends:

What if.....?

What if Larry Parsons had been shooting Paladin for this entire year, chasing the ARA A-LINE?

As it is, Larry didn't start shooting Paladin until almost June....

But...................

What if he'd been shooting Paladin the whole year?

This is of course guess work, but............

No one is going to out travel Larry......

(And it's not just the traveling, Larry has produced three 2500's this year....have any of the other A-LINE chasers done likewise?)

That's for starters.....

Again, this is speculation and guess work....

But...............

At what I figure to be the worst case scenario, today Larry would be, time wise, in New York, and the rest of the A-LINE chasers would be in California..

And that's the worst case scenario..........

The best case scenario would be much, much uglier than that....

More fascinating every day....

More fascinating every day....

CYA accuracy fool friends:

The Larry "Paladin" Parsons ARA Outdoor A-LINE story is getting more fascinating every day....

There's only three shooters that are realistically in the running for the Outdoor A-LINE Championship...

Larry Parsons...

Ms Reed....

John Prince....

2500's to date:

Parsons......3

Ms Reed.....1

Prince......2

___________________

Here's where it really gets fascinating....

The best that I can determine, Larry didn't start shooting Paladin until early June.....

So he had a bunch of matches before using Paladin that killed his raw agg.......

CYA accuracy fool friends, it's 50 times harder to maintain a high agg when shooting 200 targets, than it is when shooting only 100 targets....especially since Larry has only been shooting Paladin for part of the year....

Lastly......

Larry hasn't won the Outdoor ARA A-LINE yet.....

But if he does, it will be the greatest Outdoor ARA A-LINE Championship in the history of ARA.....

The story is getting more citing by the day...

The story is getting more citing by the day...

CYA accuracy fool friends:

First of all, I'd love to see Larry shoot Paladin at the ARA Indoor Nationals.....

But barrels last only so long.......

Now...........the news:

Larry just shot at Kettlefoot......6 cards....

He's on his way to shoot the Tennessee State later today......I do not know the name of the range....a little over 100 miles from Kettlefoot..

Then...................

He plans on driving to Northern Ohio for a match tomorrow.........about 600 miles......

Today at Kettlefoot Larry put Paladin up, saving him for big matches......

And he shot Chisum instead......and ran a strong second....2300 plus agg........first time he's shot Chisum...

I'm for every round he can save on that killer barrel on Paladin....

Larry Parsons called while ago...

Larry Parsons called awhile ago...

CYA accuracy fool friends;

Larry Parsons called a while ago...( He'd just won the tournament in Northern Ohio)

Shooting Chisum.............which tickles me......

Anyway.............

Larry's having the time of his life......

Here's what he's planning on doing:

Larry said he's going to set the "Standard" by which all future Outdoor ARA A-LINE runs will be judged....

Slowly pulling into another time zone...

CYA accuracy fool friends:

Larry "Paladin/Chisum" Parsons is slowly pulling into another time zone in the chase for the 2021 ARA A-LINE Championship.
