HV 50 yd 23.3.2024

Yesterday shooted I.R.50/50 HV 50 yd. on inside range.

Few things:

*"Mr Diana man" won

*Tapani Nousiainen was X-man and shot last target 249/24 X... 1 bad ammo? Maybe he is thinking that points + X::s is better way to results-.

*Funny detail. Second Veikko Kaarta shooted first target with tuner and got 250/12 X. Then he took tuner off and next targets were 250 /19 X and 250/20 X.

I agree with Tapani, as I know Tony K Harper as well as others do.....points plus x's is the better way to score.

Second, as well as Veikko shot without his tuner, can you imagine how killer he would be if he had his tuner properly set...

He just didn't have the tuner set properly....that's all...or he has the wrong kind of tuner...

Yes You are ofcourse right about Veikkos shooting. This RF is pretty new Turbo V-3 with Shilen. Not very much ammo testing yet.But we can see that gunsmith Söderholm has done good work and there are waitings to this RF.

And how about what tuner he uses and what reamer did Soderholm use.....how much leade engraving and how much firing pin travel, etc.......

I try ask from smith about chamber details. I know Veikko tried to get this rf to tuning outside range when there was VERY cold and shooting on very cold conditions is waste of time mostly.

Veikko is old position shooter and always shooted from right side. While ago he lost vision from his right eye and now he must shoot right side but with left eye.His head is terrible situation when he shoot. But shooter is shooter also if there is coming difficulty level.

I looked my photo gallery and this must be Veikkos rf.

If that is Veikko's rifle, man that's an extremely stiff barrel he has on it.....

No wonder it shoots as good without a MD......"tuner".....
