We must have more "quality" MD-PAS ignition actions for the masses..

We must have more "quality" MD-PAS ignition actions for the masses..

Seekers of rimfire accuracy advancement:

We must have more "quality" MD-PAS ignition actions, for the masses, if we're to advance rimfire accuracy into the future..

All this stuff I've been posting here at CYA is aimed at that goal.

Pictures like these for instance:

Once again, all this stuff has one goal, and only one:

To get more "quality" MD-PAS ignition RFBR actions into the hands of the masses.....

For you anonymous, behind the scenes folks...

For you anonymous, behind the scenes folks...

For you anonymous folks, who are quietly working behind the scenes to get more "quality" MD-PAS ignition actions into the hands of the masses, I have a suggestion:

Obtain an original Flash Ebert Turbo action, carefully measure it throughout, then incorporate all the "slop" into your new action that Flash used, intentionally, in his original Turbo action......

There's a reason for this "slop".....

Quality MD-PAS ignition actions....

Quality MD-PAS ignition actions....

Seekers of rimfire accuracy advancement:

Before we can advance rimfire accuracy into the future we must have more "quality" MD-PAS ignition actions available to the masses.

But where are they going to come from?

Rimfire accuracy advancement seekers:

Here in 2023 we're at a crossroads....

We have only three possible sources for more "quality" MD-PAS actions...

DiOrio Manufacturing, Dan Killough the new owner of Holeshot Arms and the HERO'S....

CYA accuracy fool friends:

Pardon this change of topic as I just received something interesting from a CYA member...

This is a post from Mr George Atkins.....from the Wilbur Harris Web Site, today..

The post by Mr Atkins:

I just figured that one would, most of the XP22's he built were numbered. At least that is what I read over the years. Kinda gets to what Stiller said, only a few select people are welcomed on his site, so asking directly is out of the question. I assume that the rifle names came mostly from the owners they were built for, with a few exceptions i.e. LBK, Jimmy Jack.... I read Mr. Calfee's site, I find it amusing that when he wants to know something, he starts a thread about it, then has Paul find out the answer. Sites like this were created for passing along information, ideas and general knowledge of shooting sports. It's really sad, when thread like this run off in a direction, that just brings anger and hard feelings. We all mostly enjoy a little smack talk once in a while, it's good for the sport, up until it gets personal. Mr. Stiller manufactures and smiths a great product, Mr.Calfee has smithed some great rifles. Two different types of actions, both very capable of doing what they were intended to do.

Mr Atkins, maybe it's time I explain something to you, as well as the entire rimfire accuracy community, your quote I put in bold orange:

Gingersnap and I pay for CYankee Accuracy out of our own pockets......we sell nothing.....

We do this solely to advance rimfire accuracy........

The other 22 rimfire Web Sites, including the one you posted the above on, use them for profit....they're selling things....actions...etc, etc..

So CYA is not a true public forum like the other Sites....

And yes, membership is restricted, hopefully, to like minded folks who seek to advance rimfire accuracy......

Again Mr Atkins, Gingersnap and I pay for CYA from our own pockets for the sole purpose of advancing rimfire accuracy, no matter where that leads.....

I wanted you and the rest of the rimfire accuracy community to know the difference between CYA and the other 22 accuracy Web Sites...

The overriding issue today in the advancement of rimfire accuracy...

Is not barrels, bullets, stocks, MD's, triggers or scopes and their mounting...........

The overriding issue today in the advancement of rimfire accuracy is the lack of "quality" MD-PAS ignition actions...

Are we in the process of seeing that issue alleviated to some extent?

If they will produce Turbo level ignition uniformity, the answer is YES.

Keep your fingers crossed seekers of rimfire accuracy advancement.

I've been asked twice whether one should get the integral firing pin tip or the floating firing pin tip?

I don't know the answer......I have an opinion but I'll keep it to myself....bc
