Barrel lapping, Vo speed and Vo speed variation?

Book of my own barrel lapping is VERY thin and must ask.

Is it common that when you lap barrel Vo speed goes little down but Vo speed variation is going little smaller?

When I was "cooking" and testing different waxes and shooted to chrono I noticed that when use wax with bigger friction Vo speed goes little up and viceversa.

Not very many people are shooting to chrono 22 LR ammo,but must ask!

I never use a chrono and I'm fairly sure J-Pat doesn't either....

Maybe someone else who taper laps a lot of barrels and uses a chrono will respond......someone like Paul Tolvstad maybe..
