Suhl spare parts

Howdy,

Are there any particular parts I should start looking for in order to keep a Suhl running? I have not shot it yet, but I want to insure I have spare parts if necessary.

I found a trigger.......minus the trigger blade, which is quite fragile as I understand it. I suspect that's why the trigger became available.

At a minimum, I'd like to find a blade for it, whether it's an original or an improved replacement.

Anything else I should look for?

Take care,

Greg

Your looking for that?

I have bought replacement blades several times from a guy in California. I am pretty sure he doesn't make them any longer. He did them in brass and aluminum both straight and curved. They can't take sideways pressure.

Howdy andymarth,

Yes, but only the trigger blade. I just bought a trigger to have for a spare, but it is missing the trigger blade. I'm trying to figure out where to get a trigger blade, whether factory, or possibly, a stronger upgrade of some sort.

I saw something about fitting a specific Anschutz trigger blade to the trigger assembly, but I need to do more research.

The trigger on the rifle is fine and works.

I just want to insure I have spare parts in case I ever have a problem.

Sometimes it's better to have something and not need it than to need it and not have it.

Take care,

Greg

Howdy John,

Thanks for the info. I don't ever want to break the trigger blade, but I want a spare or two in the event of a problem.

The "several times" part of your post caught my eye! I've read they are fragile, but wow! And I have no doubt you were being cautious!

Take care,

Greg

Howdy andymarth,

I looked on that website and it seems to have several things I would like to have.

By any chance, do you know if there is a way to translate it to English?

Is there something I can click on to translate? It may have been obvious but I did not see it.

Thank you for posting the link.

Take care,

Greg

The problem is the hole for the locking screw is in a very bad spot and leaves almost no metal around it.
Howdy John,

I see what you are saying!

I was rooting around on the internet and saw a Suhl for sale in benchrest configuration and noticed the trigger on it.

This screams ANSCHUTZ to me, but I don't know what part numbers to look for or where to find them. And it at least looks stronger than the factory trigger blade.

Any clues on this?

I hope this works trying to add a pic.

Take care,

Greg
